1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dairy-Free Browser Extension (“the Tool”), a browser extension/web tool developed by Jess Silver (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By installing or using the Tool, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Tool.

2. Purpose of the Tool

The Tool is designed solely to hide or suppress cookie consent pop-ups and similar overlays on websites. It does not interact with or alter the underlying consent mechanisms, nor does it automatically accept cookies on your behalf. Its purpose is to reduce visual clutter and improve browsing efficiency while maintaining your privacy preferences.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Tool only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not use the Tool to:

  • Bypass or interfere with website paywalls, login requirements, subscription systems, or any other paid/restricted access.
  • Access data, services, or functionality you are not entitled to.
  • Distribute, modify, or resell the Tool in a way that misrepresents its purpose.

4. User Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Tool complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and website terms of service. We do not guarantee that hiding cookie banners will affect or prevent cookies from being set by websites; you should review each site’s privacy policy if you are concerned about tracking or data use.

5. Disclaimer

The Tool is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees that it will work on all websites or that it will remain functional if sites change their layouts or policies.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or legal issues arising from your use of or inability to use the Tool, including but not limited to indirect or consequential losses.

7. Third-Party Websites

The Tool operates on third-party websites, which we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or actions of these sites.

8. Updates and Changes

We may update the Tool or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Tool after any changes means you accept the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
